What is meant by the terms – “Business Coaching” and “Mentoring”?
As is discussed on our Home page, the role of a Business Coach is to unlock a person’s potential to maximise their own performance. It is about helping them to learn rather than teaching them“.
Mentoring is all about sharing knowledge, experience and expertise.
Whether we are assisting a business owner by way of business coaching or mentoring, in either instance, we need to gain an understanding of the person’s background, values, financial/lifestyle goals and ambitions (personal and business) first.
The next step in the process involves first assessing a business as to where it’s at now.
Having been given the insights into the person and the business, the next stage is to then guide the business owner on tailor-made strategies formulated and designed to alleviate any existing issues/problems and what to do to help make the business more successful.
We have 50+ years of business experience across a wide range of industries. Consequently, this experience has taught us many of the do’s and don’ts in building a successful business. We then apply those same do’s and don’ts experiences to the strategies devised for your unique business goals and ambitions. Much of this business coaching and/or mentoring process will involve business planning and marketing strategies advice and guidance.
